Happy Hanukkah!

Tonight is the 5th night of Hanukkah, but we started things off early by driving to Portland for Auntie Debbie's annual Hanukkah bash, which she hosted before Grandma Linda left for Thailand. As luck would have it, the first big snow storm of the year got upgraded to a blizzard and avalanche warning and hit that weekend as well, so it was a long drive over Mt. Hood.

In Bend, we have been getting a ton of snow as well. Our deck is covered with over a foot of the white stuff, and Otis loves to run through it in the yard and alley!

Albuquerque and other travels

Well we've been busy the last couple of weeks. We were in Albuquerque visiting Grandma Franny and Grandpa Peter, and then in Portland for Thanksgiving where we got to see Grandma Linda, Auntie Julie, Uncle Jeff B, and cousins Eli & Logan (who has gotten HUGE by the way!). We're going to Portland again in a couple of weeks for an early Hanukkah celebration before Grandma Linda leaves for Thailand.

This was Owen's first trip to Albuquerque. He got to experience the swings and pinto beans, and meet lots of new people! Here are some pictures from the trip (I'm not sure why the order is mixed up, but oh well!):
