We just got back yesterday from Portland for Owen's Hebrew baby naming at synagogue. We had a really nice time visiting with family and getting educated on new car seats for Owen.
From the weekend get together at Allison's dad and Amy's house:
And here are some extra pictures from this past week:
Owen's newest trick...he really likes to stand! :o)
We just got back yesterday from Ashland, where we met up with Drew's parents, his sister Jen and her husband Josh and daughter Isabel. We had a really nice time and great weather, which made it even better! Now we're back in Bend with Francine and Peter, and we're all heading to Portland on Friday for Owen's baby naming at the synagogue.
Today we took a short hike at the Meadows so Otis could go swimming. It was Owen's first hike too, and he was a champ! He loved facing out in his Baby Bjorn and looking around, but spent most of the time eating his hands! :-)
Otis was a running blur most of the time we were at the river...
Today was a great day. Drew got to sleep in a bit (thank you Owen!) and then had breakfast cooked up for him. We got some work done on our yard, which is starting to look great, and then we went out to lunch at the McMenamin's St. Francis School. After lunch, we drove down to the Old Mill to see the Roots of Creation, a free reggae show at the Les Schwab Amphitheater. The weather has FINALLY gotten really nice, so it's been great to be able to spend time outside! Here are some pictures from our day:

Last weekend, my mom drove down for a visit, so here are some pictures from when she was out and from the past week:
My attempt at being creative with pictures (cartoon Owen)
Here is Owen's new piano toy, which he's been having a lot of fun with. He lays under it and kicks at it, and then it plays music and lights up for him. He especially likes the "If you're happy and you know it" song, which makes him laugh (sometimes) and start babbling!
Here are some of Owen's 12 week professional pictures. He was in a pretty cranky mood the day they were taken (it was nap time, wouldn't you know), but the photographer managed to get a few cute ones in...enough just to capture the age for us! Ahhhhhhh, the beauty of a nice camera with a quick clicker! :-)
Where does the time go? We can't believe that Owen will be 3 months tomorrow. Even with the sleepless nights the days are flying by. :-) Here is Owen's 3 month benchmark picture (although the bear is starting to look a bit sad!), and some pictures of O's newest trick: standing. He has now discovered that his legs are strong enough to push him up, and he LOVES to stand (with a lot of support from whoever is holding him).
