It's been a long, long time!

Sorry it's been so long since we posted an update. Life seems to have gotten busy and blogging just got forgotten about. We've been good. Owen is running around, talking up a storm, and has definitely entered the TWOs...as in, he's Mr. Independent and has learned to throw a good tantrum to get what he wants! His favorite phrases to say these days are "no way," "milk kiss" (followed by "water kiss" then "doggy kiss"...and they're all sloppy!), and "help me" when he's gotten himself into a jam, which is pretty much all the time!

Drew was in Albuquerque this past weekend for his 15 year high school reunion. Owen and I had a great time exploring Bend and hitting the town. This upcoming weekend we're taking Owen to Portland to see the Sesame Street Live! show--he's going to LOVE it, although Drew and I might be regretting it about 5 minutes in, which is what I'm guessing will happen! :-) June brings Telluride and Bluegrass Festival, which we can't wait for! Then just enjoying Central Oregon in the summer and the nice weather...especially since it is once again freezing here and was snowing this morning. AGAIN. We're definitely ready for a break from winter.

Our seeds are starting to sprout up that Drew and Owen started in the kitchen. Looks like we will have a plentiful harvest of onions, squash, peas, carrots and lettuce, assuming our new cold frame that Drew and his dad built works its magic in the alley! Will post pics of that soon.
